Corporate giving report
General Motor’s Corporate Giving Report (previously known as the Social Impact) is a document that gives a comprehensive overview of General Motors’s philanthropic ventures. The goal of this project was to give an overall refresh to an older document template, and a good building ground to build off of future Corporate Giving Reports. The visual I was going for this project was to utilize the full extent of GM’s color palette to give this normally mundane financial document a bit more flare while maximizing readability. A critique our client mentioned about the old document was amount of text feeling a bit too tight and cluttered on each page. A simple fix give a more breathing room to the text and optimize it for the GM website, was to make it into a landscape format. This also gave room to add more visually interesting elements like 3D charts and overlayed imagery in the background. Here is a comparison between two similar pages across the old and new documents!
